Police Department

Police recently took a boy into custody on a curfew violation. It was learned he had stolen a bike. Charges are pending.

A man was charged with obstruction of official business early Wednesday morning at Motel 6, 1600 Fox St.

A license plate was stolen in the 800 block of West Lima on Wednesday morning.

Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle Wednesday morning in the 1200 block of Woodworth Drive.

Two men were stopped Thursday morning in the 300 block of Hurd Avenue for walking in the street when a sidewalk was nearby. One man provided identification and was given a warning for the violation. The second man refused to identify himself and continued to question why he was stopped. After being given several opportunities to provide identification, he was charged with obstructing official business. He also was charged with walking in the street when a sidewalk is nearby. The man had warrants and was homeless. He was taking to the county jail.

A man assaulted his wife Thursday evening in the area of Emory Adams Park, injuring her. He was charged with domestic violence and taken to the county jail.

An unwanted man was in another person’s vehicle early Friday morning at The Courier, 701 W. Sandusky St. The man was charged with vehicle trespass and taken to the county jail.

A man was charged with possession of marijuana early Friday morning in the 200 block of East Pine Ave.

Sheriff’s Office

Hyway Trucking was defrauded of $3,917 on Thursday from a man claiming to have repaired one of its trucks following a traffic crash.

A domestic violence charge is pending against a Findlay woman who violated a protection order and hit her husband, hurting him Thursday night at their home.
