Police Department

The following incidents were reported Wednesday:

A suspicious man was reported on H Street.

An individual was taken into custody at East Lima and South Main streets.

A complaint related to trespassing was reported on Meeks Avenue.

A couple was reported sleeping in a vehicle on McManness Avenue.

A Findlay Street yard was damaged.

Drug paraphernalia was found on North Blanchard Street.

A West Melrose Avenue resident reported the presence of his ex-girlfriend, who he had a civil protection order against.

A domestic dispute was reported on Vincent Street, and another call was made to police about an hour later.

Drug paraphernalia was found on North Main Street.

A fraudulent prescription of a controlled substance was reported at the West Trenton Avenue Walmart.

A suspicious individual was reported at Blanchard and Fishlock avenues.

Teenagers were knocking over trash cans in front of Riverside Park.

An individual on West Trenton Avenue said the iPad they had bought a couple of weeks earlier through Facebook marketplace might have been stolen.

A Jennifer Lane resident complained about a neighbor who was loud, possibly intoxicated, and also using someone else’s WiFi.

A theft was reported on Western Avenue.

A Monroe Avenue resident reported a driver going up and down the street revving the engine with squealing tires.

A suspicious individual was reported going door to door asking if people would like to buy his food stamps at Cedar Avenue and Laquineo Street.

Sheriff’s Office

The following incidents were reported Wednesday:

A vehicle was reported abandoned on West Main Cross Street.

A domestic disturbance occurred on U.S. 224.

A hit-skip accident was reported in which a vehicle had hit some mailboxes, leaving its mirror at the scene, on Ohio 12 in Arcadia.

A suspicious man was reported near Ohio 37 and Ohio 15.

The following incidents were reported Thursday:

A driver hit a deer, damaging their car’s tire, on County Road 140.

Another deer was reported to have been hit, alive but injured, near County Road 330 and Township Road 209 in Alvada.

A man was camping at South Blanchard and East Main Cross streets.
