Police Department

The following incidents were reported Saturday:

A man in the parking lot at 2151 Industrial Drive was reportedly threatening people and trying to smash car windows.

Two men were arguing in the 500 block of West Lincoln Street.

Someone reported that a lockbox was stolen from 1900 Kirkwood Court with prescriptions and $60 inside.

A man reportedly punched through a plastic window at a Midland Avenue residence.

A woman reported she was scared from a psychic vision she had.

Police were asked to check on the welfare of a handicapped male who was riding a scooter in the road on East Melrose Avenue.

A Bright Road woman said a male was beating on her door saying, “Let me in.”

A West Lima Street resident said someone had opened a Spectrum account using his name and information.

A truck had been stuck and left large ruts in the yard at 124 Harrington Ave.

A domestic disagreement was noted at a Crystal Glen Boulevard residence.

People were yelling about a parking space at 1161 W. Trenton Ave.

A neighborhood complaint was taken from the Larkins Street area.

A man reportedly took electronics from Walmart, 1161 W. Trenton Ave., then left the area.

Someone tried to use a false bank card at Dollar General.

A domestic dispute was reported at a Monroe Avenue residence.

A man was seen stumbling down the middle of the road near the intersection of Lima Avenue and Elm Street.

A domestic incident was reported at an East Dundee Drive residence.

A male was reportedly riding a snowmobile very fast on East Eagle Street.

A vehicle struck a building at 1901 Tiffin Ave., then left the scene.

Loud music was reported in the 800 block of Hurd Avenue.

A report was taken involving a woman who said she was raped.

A report was taken about an unresponsive man sitting in a vehicle parked behind 806 N. Main St.

Sheriff’s Office

The following incidents were reported Friday:

The office was called on a report of someone driving a commercial vehicle hauling a loader recklessly on Ohio 235 and then U.S. 224.

Deputies spoke to two people after multiple trash bags were left at Rawson’s recycling area.

A Vanlue woman reported that $300 is missing out of her bank account.

A vehicle struck and damaged a power pole at Township roads 247 and 243, Arcadia, then left the scene. The pole is owned by Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative.

A stop sign at Main Cross and East North streets in Vanlue was damaged.

A resident reported that someone broke into a Van Buren home. Things were out of place, papers were moved and a pop can was left.

A domestic dispute was investigated in Van Buren.

The following incidents were reported Saturday:

Deputies were called to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop at Ohio 613 and Township Road 136, McComb. The driver of the vehicle ran away from the area.

Someone driving a maroon sedan was driving at high rates of speed and throwing items out of the sunroof in the area of County Roads 99 and 140.

An SUV was seen driving the wrong way on Ohio 15.

A vehicle drove into a field at 18855 Township Highway 138, Carey.

A truck was reportedly doing “doughnuts” in the Benton Ridge Park, pulling someone on a sled.

An Oakwood Drive resident said someone threw eggs at her car.

Several juveniles were reported running onto Township Road 243.

A domestic dispute was noted between a man said his ex-girlfriend and her son.
