Police Department

The following incidents were reported Friday:

A Huntington Drive resident reported an identity theft.

A vehicle window was broken into at 310 E. Bigelow Ave.

Two cars collided at 400 W. Trenton Ave. No injuries were reported.

A prison inmate is emailing a Clinton Street resident who has a civil protection order against the man.

One person was detained after a traffic stop on West Trenton Avenue.

Domestic disputes were reported at Beech Avenue and East Sandusky Street, and on Eben Avenue.

A vehicle was damaged in a road-rage incident at West Foulke and Morey avenues when a second car hit the vehicle twice and drove off.

A female called police after a male showed up at an East Hardin Street residence saying because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he didn’t have to obey court orders to stay clear of the female.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at Culver’s, 806 W. Trenton Ave.

The following incidents were reported Saturday:

Counterfeit money was reported at Jimmy John’s, 536 W. Trenton Ave.

Items were stolen from a vehicle at 2060 Breckenridge Road.

An Eben Avenue female reported a male was “destroying her belongings” and left the residence.

A passport was reported missing from 1324 W. Sandusky St.

One person was taken into custody at 2500 Tiffin Ave. and their vehicle was towed to impound lot.

A hit-skip accident was reported in the parking lot at 1161 W. Trenton Ave.

Sheriff’s Office

The following incidents were reported Friday:

A key chain and keys were returned to a Rawson resident after being found in Findlay.

A tractor-trailer hit a road sign and a stop sign, knocking both down, at Jackson Township 179/168 intersection.

An unwanted person was detained at the Pilot service center, 11471 Ohio 613, Van Buren. The man had pulled a knife on a manager and was denied service. He was trying to get on a bus. The same person returned to the service center Saturday afternoon and was “causing issues” and refusing to leave. He eventually left in a taxi cab heading to Toledo.

The following incidents were reported Saturday:

A yard at 2408 Township Road 142 was torn up by a tractor-trailer Friday night.

A driver was cited following a two-vehicle non-injury accident on Ohio 12 at Liberty Township 130.

A bolt-action rifle was found on Hancock County 97 and brought to the sheriff’s office.

A party with attendees under the legal drinking age and an intoxicated person was reported at 13088 Madison Township 150, Arlington.

Nails were stuck in tires of two vehicles parked at 852 W. Bigelow Ave.
