Police Department

The following incidents were reported Thursday:

A vehicle was stopped at Clinton Court and Carnahan Avenue. The driver was given a warning for only one headlight.

Three people were detained after a traffic stop at Fox Street and West Foulke Avenue.

Two individuals attempted to enter locked vehicles on Monroe Avenue, but they were unsuccessful.

A Jennifer Lane female requested an officer contact her to discuss a verbal confrontation with a male who left the residence but was still in the area.

One person was taken into custody and a vehicle was impounded after a traffic stop on a northbound Interstate 75 entrance ramp.

A fight was reported and screaming could be heard at 1805 Fostoria Ave.

Counterfeit money may have been used Wednesday to purchase an item from a private seller.

A K-9 drug alert dog was brought to North Blanchard Street and East Melrose Avenue following a traffic stop. One person was taken into custody.

A domestic dispute between a juvenile and female adult was reported on Rector Avenue.

A vehicle owned by a Lima male was reportedly trespassing at a Lima Avenue residence.

Four people were seen pushing a vehicle into the street on Allen Avenue following a parking complaint.

A theft was reported at 450 Sterling Hill Drive.

Two vehicles collided in the 500 block of Tiffin Avenue. No airbags were deployed and there were no injuries.

Semitractors were going into oncoming traffic in the 1000 block of Blanchard Avenue to avoid a cable line that was down. When police checked about 30 minutes later, no cable line was down.

A witness saw a package fall out of a U.S. Postal Service truck in the 1400 block of Logan Avenue, and it was in the middle of the road.

A Fremont Avenue female reported harassing texts were being received from a male. It was a possible violation of a civil protection order against the male.

Utility crews were called after trees fell on Spring Lake Drive and blocked the road.

A car at 1021 Blanchard Ave. was moved after utility wires on the vehicle were removed by utility crews.

A hit-skip accident was reported at Hurd and Joy avenues.

Exterior cameras were installed at a residence in the 1700 block of South Blanchard Street, and a neighbor wanted police notified because the neighbor seemed “sketchy.”

Domestic disputes were reported on Kirkwood Court and Monroe Avenue.

A male in the 100 block of West High Street was reportedly in a backyard with a baseball bat yelling that he was a federal agent.

A black Camaro was stopped in the 12700 block of Hancock County 212 for not having a readable license plate.

Sheriff’s Office

The following incidents were reported Thursday:

An Ohio 235 resident’s Yorkie was shot and killed by a neighbor after the dog killed some of the neighbor’s chickens. A county dog warden was called to the location.

A Columbus woman was pushed out of a truck on Hancock County 84 at Liberty Township 128, west of Findlay. She was treated at Blanchard Valley Hospital for leg and foot injuries sustained while they were run over by the truck as it continued east on Hancock County 84. The State Highway Patrol and Findlay Police Department were contacted to watch for the vehicle.

At a traffic stop on North Blanchard Street and East Melrose Avenue, a deputy found Suboxone, shake and hypodermic needle. The front passenger admitted to “smoking a bowl” that morning.

A domestic disturbance inside a vehicle was reported at Ohio 15 and Amanda Township 198, Vanlue.

A domestic dispute was reported at a Rawson residence. A female and juvenile left for the night.

The following incidents were reported Friday:

A Findlay resident reported pictures of guns and threats on social media posted by a male whom the female has a civil protection order against.

The reckless operation of a vehicle was reported at Ohio 37 and Jackson Township 25, Arlington.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at 933 W. Heatherview Court between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at 862 W. Bigelow Ave. between Thursday night and 9 a.m. Friday.
