    An archery program for children 9-12 years old, led by a certified archery instructor, will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the archery area across from Dold Lake in Oakwoods Nature Preserve.

    The program will include basic archery techniques and safety.

    Register, with $10 per person, by 4 p.m. Thursday online at www.HancockParks.com or at the Hancock Park District administrative office, 1424 E. Main Cross St.

    There will be a maximum of 10 participants.
