Rawson Proud will host its annual town festival beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday with a craft show at the village park.
Numerous area fire departments will participate in firemen games at 2 p.m. at the fire station, located on County Road 37. The Hancock County Sheriff Office’s K-9 unit will display their abilities at 3 p.m.
The Cory-Rawson Show Choir will perform at 4 p.m., followed by the Millstream Singers.
The parade will begin at 6 and go the length of town, ending at the park. There will be over 80 units involved.
The Cory-Rawson band will start the post-parade celebration by playing the national anthem. High Octane, a drum corp from Lima, will follow. Sounds Good Mobile Entertainment will finish the entertainment for the evening.
A dunk tank with local personalities, bingo and other games of skill will be available throughout the day.
Life Flight will land on the ball field at 8. The crew will answer questions and the helicopter will be available for inspection.
The six-gun drawing will bring the evening to close at 9 p.m.
