Northwest Ohio’s Vitak-Elsnic Tribute Band will perform from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Deshler’s Bavarian Haus as a memorial to its first trumpet player and co-founder Kent Harris, who died suddenly in August.
The previously scheduled performance will now be a fundraiser for Bowling Green State University’s Polka Preservation Fund, with 100 percent of proceeds from CDs sold at the concert going to the organization. Additionally, an anonymous donor will match the amount raised.
The band plays “old time” polkas, waltzes and two-steps. For more information, contact band member Todd Harris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
