Just an observation about the “new” downtown Main Street project: On Friday, we went downtown at about 9 a.m. with the intention of eating some breakfast, then going shopping.
There were no parking spaces available within two blocks of our destination. We drove around for 15 minutes, thinking something would become available. Nothing did.
So, we ended up going elsewhere, not downtown.
So, sorry downtown merchants. You’ve lost a customer until more convenient parking becomes available.
