Don Dennison will speak in the traditional blended worship at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, 1100 N. Main St. The Rev. Will Miller will speak at 9:30 a.m. in the contemporary service in the Winebrenner TLB Auditorium, 950 N. Main St. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at all four services. Adult Sunday school takes place at 8:30 a.m. at CF Winebrenner in room 152 and at 9:30 a.m. (six classes) in various rooms at the church. An informational meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the TLB auditorium. A new book study begins this week and will meet at 6:30 p.m. Mondays in room 136 at the Center for Student Life and College of Business on the UF campus. The book is “The Listening Life” by Adam McHugh, and the Rev. Matt Ginter will facilitate. Books are available for $10 in the church office. The Rev. William H. Smith, pastor at First United Church of Christ, 2100 Greendale Ave., will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination during the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service. The Rev. Daniel Busch, district association minister, will deliver the message and present Smith with a certificate. Guest speakers will be the Rev. Dr. Donald Brown, the Rev. David Culp and William Booher, church council president. There will be a reception immediately following the service, with a light lunch and cake. The church is easily accessible and on the ground level.

High school and college graduates — including nine seniors from Riverdale, Arcadia and Vanlue high schools — will be recognized during the 9 a.m. service Sunday at West Independence United Methodist Church. Children entering the second- and third-grade class will receive a children’s Bible. This will be the last performance by the church choir until fall, and they will be presenting a special offering. Nursery care will be available.
