Church of the Living God

Church of the Living God will hold a marriage conference titled “See Your Marriage in 20/20” from 1-5 p.m. Feb. 15 at Winebrenner Theological Seminary. The program will feature Brad and Heidi Mitchell, whose ministry is titled “Build Your Marriage,” and is intended to teach how to build a marriage, both romantically and spiritually. College First

The College First Church of God “YOUnique” sermon series continues Sunday with a lesson on spiritual gifts. The Rev. Brandon Kelly’s sermon is titled “YOUniquely Gifted,” based on 1 Corinthians 12:1-11. Worship is at 9 or 11 a.m. in the sanctuary at 1100 N. Main St., or at the contemporary service at 10 a.m. in Winebrenner Auditorium, 950 N. Main St. The church will host a 4 p.m. worship service in the chapel at Birchaven Village. Kelly will host the monthly New Here Coffee gathering at 10 a.m. Feb. 1 in the church parlor. The casual gathering is open to anyone who would like to learn more about College First and the Findlay area. First Lutheran

First Lutheran Church will celebrate the third Sunday of Epiphany, when Jesus calls Peter and Andrew simply saying, “follow me.” Services are at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Adult and children Sunday school classes meet at 9:30. A coffee and cookie fellowship is held in the church lounge after each service. There will be a congregational meeting after the late service to approve the 2020 budget, review and celebrate 2019 accomplishments, and elect delegates to the ELCA North West Ohio Synod Assembly. Box Tops for Education are being collected for Lincoln Elementary School.

First Presbyterian

Based on the readings of Mark and how Jesus heals the Gerasene Demoniac, First Presbyterian Church on Sunday will celebrate how we are healed through the power of Jesus. Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and is preceded by Spiritual Formation at 8 a.m. and prayer ministry at 8:45. The service also includes age-appropriate worship for children of all ages. St. Andrew’s UM

The sermon series “Upside Down” continues with the message “You Can Change Your World,” based on Matthew 5:13-20, at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 120 W. Sandusky St. Traditional worship is offered at 9 a.m. and can be heard on WFIN. Blended, contemporary worship follows at 11:15. Both services are livestreamed at or on the church Facebook page.

St. Michael’s

Students and staff from St. Michael School will be praying the rosary in Dorney Plaza outside the Hancock County Courthouse at 10 a.m. Monday. There will be approximately 400 students praying for our government officials and community leaders. This event falls during National Catholic Schools Week.

TGMA Gospel Music

Van Buren Presbyterian

VAN BUREN — The Van Buren Presbyterian Church’s 14th annual Groundhog Day pancake breakfast will be held from 8-11 a.m. Feb. 1. Unlimited servings of pancakes, along with fresh, ground, whole-hog sausage will be served. The gospel group Living Water from Wharton will also be performing during the breakfast. A freewill donation will be accepted, with all proceeds going to the church’s mission fund. The church is also collecting nonperishable food items for the Van Buren Community Cupboard.
