College First

Participate in worship from home at 10 a.m. Palm Sunday using the College First Facebook page or YouTube channel; go to Facebook or YouTube and search “College First Church of God.” Lead Pastor the Rev. Brandon Kelly’s sermon is “Giving up our Motives,” based on Luke 19:28-48. Palm fronds will be available to pick up at the church between 1 and 3 p.m. today. At 11:02 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays, join in prayer together on Facebook Live. Prayer time is based on Luke 11:2, Thy Kingdom Come. Both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services will be livestreamed at 7 p.m. Prepackaged communion elements will be available at the church from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for Maundy Thursday worship. The new Resources page on the website offers video links, printable resources, activities and podcast links. Kids Club for pre-K through fifth grade can be seen on the CFKids Facebook page at 3 p.m. each Wednesday. Faith Presbyterian

First Lutheran

First Lutheran Church will celebrate Palm Sunday and the beginning of Passion Week via its website, www.1stLutheranChurch.org. The entire service will be posted there; click the purple box labeled “April 5 Worship Video” for the YouTube presentation. A printed copy of the service is also available beneath the sermon box labeled “April 5 Bulletin.” The Rev. Robert C. Cochran will walk worshipers through Jesus’ last week using the Passion account from Matthew’s Gospel. The sanctuary continues to be open to the public for prayer and meditation from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon on Good Friday. The church will serve this week’s community dinner as a “grab-and-go” lunch, available in the parking lot from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Individuals should be present to receive a lunch.

First Presbyterian

Palm Sunday services at First Presbyterian Church will be online at 9:30 a.m. as a Facebook Live event at facebook.com/findlayfpc. Everyone is invited to log in and join the Rev. Good Shepherd

BENTON RIDGE — Registration for food boxes, for Liberty-Benton and Cory-Rawson school district residents only, will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Monday through Wednesday. Call the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church office at 419-859-1234 on these days to reserve a box. Leave a voice mail recording which includes the clear stating of your name and phone number, and someone will return the call. Reserved boxes will be available for pickup from 9:30-10 a.m. April 18 at the church, 119 W. Main St., Benton Ridge. Recipients must bring identification and proof of address.

Redeemer Lutheran

Redeemer Lutheran Church LCMC, 1009 Blanchard Ave., will suspend services through and including April 26. Services are planned to resume May 3, with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30. Requests for prayer during this stressful time should be directed to 567-208-2079.

St. Andrew’s UM

St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church will offer worship online and on the radio. The 9 a.m. service will be available on WFIN (1330 AM or 95.5 FM) or WFIN.com, and both the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services will be streamed at saumcfindlay.org and on the church Facebook page. This week’s Scriptures are Matthew 21:1-11 and Matthew 26:14-35, and the message is titled “The Truth Hurts” in the series “Heart-to-Heart Talks.” Check the Facebook page on Wednesday afternoons for Kids Praise and on Wednesday evenings for Youth Group Live. St. Andrew’s will offer online services at 6:30 p.m. on Maundy Thursday; and at 6:30 p.m. on Good Friday.

St. Luke’s Lutheran

NORTH BALTIMORE — Journey through Holy Week with St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of North Baltimore. All services will be on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/ralph.j.mineo. The Rev. Ralph Mineo and Jo will lead the church community through this journey. Service times include 10:15 a.m. on Palm/Passion Sunday, a journey of praise as Jesus triumphantly enters Jerusalem; 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday, which begins the solemn journey of the three days leading up to Easter; 7 p.m. Good Friday; and 10:15 a.m. Easter, celebrating the resurrection of the Lord and the enduring hope of life forever.

Trinity Lutheran

Trinity Lutheran Church continues to stay connected via Facebook and YouTube. The church invites families to participate in a “Social Distancing Easter Egg Hunt” anytime through April 12. Decorate a paper Easter egg and hang it in a front window. Go for a walk or drive around to locate the Easter eggs. Remember to stay a safe distance from others, and wash your hands when you get home. SPARK! Sunday school is back, as individuals in the congregation will be recording a video for children age 3 through fifth grade, including a fun activity.
