The Findlay Noon Rotary Club has presented $33,750 to four local nonprofit organizations.

The club’s forward fund has surpassed the goal of $1 million and is positioned to contribute to the community for decades to come, embodying the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”

This year’s benefactors were:

  • Children’s Museum of Findlay: $5,000 for Adopt-A-School
  • Miracle League of Findlay: $8,750 for the Nook play area
  • Raise the Bar Hancock County: $15,000 for The Leader in Me program
  • Habitat for Humanity: $5,000 for home repair program

The Findlay Noon Rotary Club’s Forward Fund was established in 1991 to build over the years through donations and bequests. The objective was to build a permanent fund which could make a substantial and lasting contribution to the community.

The fund is also supported through outright gifts, matching funds, contributions through wills, life insurance gifts, shares of stock and memorials.
