Families of boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to Camp Berry from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for hiking, fishing, archery, arts and crafts, launching model rockets, shooting BB guns, rowing boats, carnival games and climbing a 50-foot tower. A Halloween costume contest will be held at noon.

The cost for the day is $5 per person, and newly registered Cub Scouts who bring their own rocket get in free.

As part of the “Scout Me In” program, children who are not currently a member of a pack can register at the event. Camp Berry is located at 11716 County Road 40.
