Upcoming programs at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library focus on teen crafts and media literacy.

Youth in grades six through 12 are invited to “Teen Craft and Snack” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the children’s programming room. The craft for this month is a perler bead snowflake.

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, University of Findlay professor Diana Montague will present “Fighting Fake News: How to Improve Media Literacy Skills.” This presentation will take place in the Lindamood Room and will include ways to develop media literacy skills to find reliable sources.

A teen “Collage and Cocoa” event will be held from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Lindamood Room. Amanda Brasfield, creator of Spiritus Collage, will lead participants in grades six through 12 in collage making.
