ARLINGTON — Hancock County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Saturday morning at the Huntington Bank, 100 N. Main St., Arlington.
The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded cash from one of the tellers around 11:21 a.m. Saturday, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
The man fled north from the bank and had not been located as of Sunday.
Officials did not disclose how much money was taken.
The suspect was wearing all black and had a stocking-like cap down to his eyes. He was described as a white male between 6-foot, 3-inches and 6-foot, 5-inches tall, weighing between 220 and 235 pounds.
The sheriff’s office and the Lima office of the FBI are investigating.
