A single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on southbound Interstate 75 in Findlay was reportedly caused by a medical issue, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol said Melissa Stone, 52, of Mount Blanchard, was southbound on I-75 near U.S. 224 in a 2015 Chrysler 200 at around 6:30 a.m. While driving, Stone had a medical issue and became incapacitated, the patrol said. The Chrysler traveled off the left side of the road, hit a concrete barrier, and came to rest at the end of a guardrail.
Stone was unresponsive when she was found by first responders but was not injured by the crash, the patrol said. She was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital.
The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the accident scene. The crash remains under investigation.
