Three people were injured in an accident early Sunday on Hancock County 172.

Around 2:14 a.m., Colleen Lugo, 28, of Marion, was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty east when she lost control on the icy road, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle went off the south side of the road near 13842 Hancock County 172. The vehicle went into a ditch and rolled before stopping on its top in a field.

Lugo and two passengers, Rose Kraftick, 39, of Delaware, Ohio, and Playford Mack, 26, of Marion, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Emergency Medical Service, the sheriff’s office reported.

Lugo was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control, the sheriff’s office said.

Also at the scene were Arlington Fire Department and Dick’s Towing.
