A Dunkirk woman was injured in a single-car crash at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, south of Findlay on Jackson Township 168, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.

Karen S. Kidd, 75, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital, the patrol said.

The patrol said Kidd was eastbound on Jackson Township 168, just east of U.S. 68, in a 2000 Dodge Intrepid when the car bottomed out after crossing railroad tracks, went off the right side of the road and overturned.

Kidd was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash and was trapped inside the car after the crash, the patrol said.

She was issued a citation for failure to control and for not wearing her safety belt, the patrol said.

Her car was severely damaged and was towed by R&A Towing.

The Arlington Fire Department assisted at the accident scene.
