The Hancock Park District is offering a new “Discovery Explorers” series for those who loved “Discovery Stories,” but who have aged beyond the series.

The new program offers a short, informative talk followed by activities and a craft all about the topic of the month.

“Discovery Explorers: Frogs and Toads,” which is the second in this series, will take place Thursday at the Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center at Oakwoods Nature Preserve.

Children ages 6 to 10 with an adult, as well as other siblings, are welcome to attend programs at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The program is free and registration is not required.
