Findlay has added three officers to its police department.

The new officers, Kasey Adelsperger, Ryan Tittle Jr. and Alec Traxler, were sworn in by Mayor Lydia Mihalik on Monday.

Adelsperger, 21, graduated from Mohawk High School and Tiffin University with a master’s degree in criminal justice. She is currently attending the police academy at Rhodes State College and will graduate in September.

Ryan Tittle Jr., 25, graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He recently graduated from the police academy at Owens Community College.

Alec Traxler, 27, graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School and Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He will attend the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy to obtain his Ohio Peace Officer certificate.

The officers will be assigned to the patrol division at the department.
