A Findlay man was charged with three counts of workers’ compensation fraud for alleged events between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2018, according to Hancock County grand jury indictments Tuesday.

Rodney A. Ashcraft, 60, is accused of defrauding the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. He is charged with two counts of workers’ compensation fraud, both fourth-degree felonies, plus a fifth-degree felony count of workers’ compensation fraud.

The fourth-degree felony charges allege fraud of between $7,500 and $150,000, and the fifth-degree felony count alleges fraud of between $1,000 and $7,500.

Separately, two people were indicted Tuesday on related breaking and entering charges. Gabriel Anderson, 20, of Findlay, and Scott L. Moyers, 35, of Findlay, were each charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. The alleged incident occurred Aug. 12 on West High Street in Findlay.

Six people were indicted on drug-related charges:

  • William I. Vanhorn, 35, of Delphos, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, after an alleged event on May 10.
  • Crystal S. Dillon, 38, of Findlay, was charged with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, after an alleged event on June 8.
  • Jean M. Smith, 63, of Findlay, was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, after an alleged event on June 11.
  • Bonnie R. Vandeneynde, 45, of Findlay, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, after an alleged event on May 29.
  • Tevon L. Smith, 45, of Arcadia, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, after alleged incidents on June 12 and July 27.
  • Michelle L. Neal, 41, of Findlay, was charged with possession of a dangerous drug, a fifth-degree felony, after an alleged incident on May 8.

Separately, Ashley K. Baldridge, 25, of Findlay, was charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, after an alleged incident on July 1.

Nicole E. Ritter, 32, address unknown, was charged with failing to appear in court on July 30, a fourth-degree felony.

Several secret indictments were also released recently. All involved drug charges:

  • Brandon E. Sherbrook, 30, of Findlay, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony. The alleged incident occurred June 5, 2017.
  • Tyler J. Harpe, 41, of Findlay, was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, one from Sept. 18, 2017, and a second from Sept. 21, 2017, each a fourth-degree felony.
  • Lamarcus O. Grover, 34, of Detroit, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, each a third-degree felony. The alleged incidents occurred in November 2016.
  • Lyndsey M. Pinson, 28, of Bucyrus, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony, after an alleged incident July 25, 2017.
  • Tyler M. Sherbrook, 19, of Findlay, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, each a fourth-degree felony, after alleged incidents in July 2017.
  • Eric S. Ward Jr., 27, of Findlay, was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a third-degree felony. The alleged incidents occurred Sept. 11, 2017, and Feb. 8.
  • Justin E. Stephens, 24, of Findlay, was charged with trafficking in a counterfeit controlled substance, a fifth-degree felony; trafficking in cocaine, a fifth-degree felony; and possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 23, 2017, Oct. 23, 2017, and April 14.
