A woman was injured when the bicycle she was riding collided with a car at 11:30 a.m. Saturday near George House Coffee and Tea at 1041 N. Main St., the Findlay Police Department reported.

Police said Brandi Hale, 28, of Findlay, was riding a bicycle on the North Main Street sidewalk and didn’t see 49-year-old Michael Johnson, of Findlay, attempting to turn right onto Main Street from George Street.

Hale hit the car, a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, while on the bicycle.

Hale was taken to the Blanchard Valley Hospital emergency room by Hanco EMS. She was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
