McCOMB — McComb Council on Monday heard the community swimming pool will be drained today.
Toys and other attractions attached inside the pool will be removed for the season.
Village Administrator Kevin Siferd told council that cost estimates are being sought to replace a pool filter that is cracked.
In other park matters, new scoreboards at the village park will be erected next week.
Also, storm sewer survey work for West South Street has been completed.
Separately, bid specifications are being prepared for some street resurfacing.
In other business, council:
- Said the municipal office will be closed Monday for Labor Day.
- Fielded a concern about abandoned autos in the village.
