KENTON — Country artist Dylan Scott will headline the 2018 Hardin County Fair, which begins today and continues through Sunday at the county fairgrounds in Kenton.

Scott along with the music duo Brown & Gray will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday in the grandstand. General admission tickets for the concert are $15, assigned seating tickets are $20 and track standing/seating tickets are $25.

Scott’s single “My Girl” was No. 1 on the Country Airplay charts in 2016, and “Hooked,” a second single by the Louisiana native, reached sixth on Country Airplay in 2017.

Other grandstand events include harness racing on Thursday, a truck and tractor pull Friday night, and a demolition derby on Sunday. Admission to the harness racing is free. Tickets for the pull and the demolition derby are $6 for general admission, $8 for reserved seats and $10 for pit passes.

The Children’s Entertainment Lawn will feature children’s activities and events each day of the fair, including the Dino-Roar Show, and glass blower and wood carver presentations.

Admission to the fair is $9 for those ages 9 and over. A season pass, which admits one adult and a family’s school-age children all week is $20. Veterans are admitted free on Tuesday, and senior citizens (ages 60 and over) get in free on Friday.
