UPPER SANDUSKY — Four people were injured in a single-car accident on Highland Drive in Upper Sandusky Friday evening, the Upper Sandusky Police Department reported.

According to police, Courtney Middleton, 21, of Malinta, was driving a 1997 Honda Civic north on Greenbrier Road at 6:05 p.m. when she failed to negotiate the curve onto Highland Drive. Her car went off the north side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Middleton was taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital by Upper Sandusky EMS, police reported. Three passengers in her car, Wesley Billock, 25, Dalton Parks, 18, and David Conn, 18, all of Upper Sandusky, also were treated for injuries, according to police. Middleton was cited for failure to control, police reported. None of the passengers were wearing safety belts.
