McCOMB — A juvenile who was struck by a train in McComb Tuesday night suffered non-life-threatening injuries, McComb police reported Wednesday.

According to police, rescue personnel were called to East Main Street at the railroad crossing at 6:56 p.m. Tuesday after a juvenile pedestrian was struck by a train.

The McComb Police Department, PMP Joint Ambulance District and Northwest Hancock Joint Fire District responded.

The juvenile, who was not identified by police, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

No other details were released. The incident is under investigation.
