A two-vehicle collision on U.S. 68 injured a Columbus man on Wednesday afternoon, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 2:36 p.m. Wednesday, Stephen P. Holcomb, 63, of Columbus, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet HHR on the eastbound exit ramp from Ohio 15. After stopping, Holcomb turned northbound onto U.S. 68 and struck a northbound 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Phillip L. Simmons, 35, of Bowling Green, the sheriff’s office said.

Holcomb was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital. The crash remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
