Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on an Interstate 75 ramp in Findlay, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.

According to the patrol, Ashley McClain, 19, of Swanton, was driving a 2001 Chevy Prizm at 1:37 p.m. on southbound I-75 when she pulled onto the exit ramp for Hancock County 99 and struck the rear of a 2009 Chevy driven by Kevin Flanagan, 58, of Van Buren, who was stopped for traffic on the ramp.

McClain was taken by PMP EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries, the patrol reported. Flanagan suffered minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

McClain was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance ahead, according to the patrol.
