Marathon Center for the Performing Arts is seeking nominees for its annual MCPA/Fifth Third Wall of Fame Award, with the nomination process underway through Dec. 31.

Made possible with the support of Fifth Third Bank, the award recognizes and honors people with academic, professional and/or civic ties to Findlay or Hancock County, living or deceased, whose impact has been recognized at the highest possible level of demonstrable accomplishment in their area of expertise in the disciplines of music, dance, theater and the visual arts.

All nomination forms received shall be reviewed extensively by a selection committee comprising community philanthropic, artistic and business members; representatives from Fifth Third Bank; and MCPA’s executive director.

After selection committee deliberation and determination by majority vote, the nominee(s) will be chosen and announced.

The public will be invited to the MCPA/Fifth Third Wall of Fame Recognition Event in early May, and the name of the selected inductee(s) will be permanently displayed on the Wall of Fame.

Any Findlay or Hancock County resident may nominate candidates by completing a nomination form available for download at mcpa.org/center-info/fifth-third-bank-wall-of-fame/.

Forms will also be mailed upon request by calling 419-423-2787 and/or may also be picked up at the box office located at 200 W. Main Cross St.
