Two dozen people were indicted by a Hancock County grand jury Tuesday, many on drug charges.

Joseph W. Edinger, 32, of Findlay, was indicted for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.

Edinger allegedly possessed amphetamine in Findlay on Sept. 18, 2017, and tried to destroy or hide it the same day.

Three people face charges for alleged fentanyl or heroin possession.

Broc J. Cooper, 24, of Findlay, faces a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having fentanyl in Findlay on July 27.

Justin D. Haugh, 27, of Findlay, was indicted for possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. He allegedly had less than one gram of the drug in Findlay on Sept. 20.

Stephen C. Greeno, 27, of Findlay, was indicted for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having fentanyl in Findlay on May 11.

Greeno is also charged with possession of cocaine, another fifth-degree felony, which he also allegedly possessed on May 11.

Several other men are charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

Andrew S. Williams, 25, of Findlay, allegedly had it on May 8 in Findlay.

Darrin R. Marshall, 47, of Castalia, allegedly had cocaine in Findlay on June 15.

William A. Mielke Jr., 38, of Findlay, allegedly possessed cocaine in Findlay on Sept. 20.

Jeffery Williams, 42, of Findlay, allegedly possessed the drug on Nov. 4 in Findlay.

Darryl Vantrease, 56, of Fostoria, is charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, as well as aggravated possession of drugs, also a fifth-degree felony. He allegedly had cocaine in Findlay on May 19 and methamphetamine in Findlay on June 29.

Jesse N. Johnson, 26, of Findlay, faces charges of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine, both fifth-degree felonies. Johnson allegedly possessed methamphetamine and cocaine in Findlay on Aug. 8.

Several more people are charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for alleged methamphetamine possession.

Alexis Lewis, 36, of Findlay, allegedly had the drug in Findlay on June 16.

Rachel B. Barger, 26, address unknown, allegedly possessed methamphetamine in Findlay on June 26.

Curtis J. Hughes, 29, of Findlay, allegedly possessed it in Findlay on Sept. 27.

Jonathon M. Guthrie, 24, of Bellevue, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine in Findlay on July 15. The charge is a higher-degree felony because he allegedly had at least five times the bulk amount, but less than 50 times the bulk amount.

Four people are charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for alleged oxycodone possession.

Angela K. Thorp, 43, of Findlay, allegedly had the drug in Findlay on May 11.

Jesse McCourt, 26, of Tiffin, allegedly had oxycodone in Findlay on July 5.

Daniel W. Carles, 39, of Findlay, allegedly possessed it in Findlay on Aug. 18.

Kevin K. Williams, 29, of Findlay, allegedly possessed oxycodone in Findlay on Sept. 21.

Gregory M. Nevers, 40, of Detroit, faces a fifth-degree felony theft charge for allegedly taking North Face merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Findlay on Nov. 5.

Vita C. Warren, 51, address unknown, also faces a fifth-degree felony theft charge for that incident. Additionally, she is charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony, for allegedly leading Findlay police officers on a chase.

Police attempted to pull Warren and Nevers over on Tiffin Avenue, but Warren allegedly fled onto North Blanchard Street before hitting a utility pole and another vehicle on Walnut Street.

Warren is also charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

Shirley L. Golden, 50, of Fostoria, is charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, with a specification for having five previous offenses, a fourth-degree felony. She is also charged with operating a motor vehicle with a specified concentration of alcohol, a fourth-degree felony.

Her blood alcohol level was allegedly between .08 and .17 while driving in Findlay on July 21.

Golden has previously pleaded guilty in Tiffin Municipal Court, Fostoria Municipal Court, Sandusky Municipal Court and Bellevue Municipal Court five times since 2008, according to the indictment.

John E. Wells, 71, of Findlay. faces a theft charge, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly taking a debit card from a Fostorian.

Two people are charged with failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony.

Michaela J. Weatherholtz, 23, of Findlay, allegedly did not appear in Hancock County Common Pleas Court on Oct. 24.

Brandy M. Johnson, 27, of Findlay, allegedly did not go to Hancock County Common Pleas Court on Nov. 7.

A secret indictment was released this week against Vashaun T. Lindsey, 26, of Toledo, who is charged with trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin, both fourth-degree felonies. Lindsey allegedly sold both drugs on March 7 within 1,000 feet of Northview Primary School in Findlay.
