Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
The Courier is again asking readers to write about their favorite holiday memories and send them in so they can be shared with others.
Readers’ recollections will be published Dec. 22.
Contributors are asked to describe a favorite Christmas memory, or their most memorable Christmas, whether humorous, poignant, unusual, or representative of an era gone by.
No fictional or made-up stories will be used.
Christmas poems will be considered for publication.
Stories submitted to the newspaper must be in writing, and include the writer’s full name, address and telephone number for verification purposes.
The memories can be as short as a sentence or two, or they can be longer. For longer stories, around 300 words is a good maximum length, although a few slightly longer stories may be used if space permits.
Photos can be submitted with Christmas memories.
All stories will be subject to editing and condensation, but every effort will be made to preserve the heart of the story.
Because of space limitations, not all stories may be used.
Letters should be addressed to: Christmas Memories, The Courier, P.O. Box 609, Findlay, OH 45839.
Christmas memories also may be emailed to the following address: Send an E-mail to Robert Waddle.
To be considered for use, letters must be received at The Courier office by Dec. 15.
