Two armed men robbed the occupants of a Howard Street residence Monday night, Findlay police reported.

According to police, three men in a house at 117½ Howard St. told police that two men carrying semi-automatic handguns entered their residence around 9:46 p.m., pointed the guns at them, and demanded the combination to a safe in the home.

The suspects reportedly took the safe when they didn’t receive the combination and then fled in an unknown direction, police reported.

The two suspects were described as black males wearing dark-hooded clothing, according to the police report.

Police say there were no suspects in custody late Monday, and the incident remains under investigation.
