McCOMB — Three people were killed in a head-on collision Tuesday evening on Ohio 186, just north of U.S. 224, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Pronounced dead at the scene were Dylan Miller, 22, of McComb; Edward Bear III, 22, of Hoytville; and Andrew Crowe, 33, of McComb, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office reported that Miller was driving a 2005 Acura south on Ohio 186, north of Township Road 94, at 6:31 p.m. when he lost control of the car, crossed the center line and was struck by a northbound 2000 GMC truck driven by Allen Wilson, 31, of McComb.
Bear was a passenger in the Miller car. Crowe was a passenger in the Wilson truck.
Wilson and another passenger in his truck, a 1-year-old girl, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, the sheriff’s office said. Their conditions were unknown early this morning.
Assisting at the accident scene were the Northwest Hancock Joint Fire District, PMP Joint Ambulance District, Hanco EMS, Life Flight medical helicopter, Dick’s Towing and B&G Towing.
