A rural Arcadia man was injured in a single-vehicle accident early Tuesday morning on Cass Township 215, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.

According to the sheriff’s office, Richard Lewis, 52, of rural Arcadia, was driving east on Cass Township 215 at 7:16 a.m. when he fell asleep and drove off the north side of the road and into a ditch.

Lewis was treated at Blanchard Valley Hospital for minor injuries, the sheriff’s office said. He was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
