Findlay’s green waste site will reopen April 2 at a new location.
The site is now at 330 N. Cory St., behind Findlay’s public works building, and is accessible off of Fair Street.
It was moved from its West High Street location due to the flood-control benching work being done along the Blanchard River.
The green waste site hours will be 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The green waste site is for “yard waste” such as leaves, brush, limbs and grass, and is free to all residents.
City residents can also purchase mulch for $15 per cubic yard and composted leaf garden dirt for $30 per cubic yard from the site, when available.
Delivery in the city is available for $30.
For delivery outside the city, call the Findlay Street Department at 419-424-7181.
No bags, trash or other debris can be dumped at the site, and residents caught dumping banned materials will be forbidden from using the site and will be referred to Findlay police.
Violations can be reported to the Findlay Street Department or Findlay police at 419-424-7150.
