VAN BUREN — Two people, including a Hoytville woman, were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday night on Interstate 75, north of Findlay, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.

According to the patrol, Samuel Lacrosse, 21, of Columbus, was driving a 2014 Jeep Wrangler south on Interstate 75, south of the Van Buren exit, at 9:05 p.m. when the vehicle struck the concrete median barrier before colliding with a southbound 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Ashley Rood, 30, of Hoytville.

Both Lacrosse and Rood were taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, the patrol reported.

The accident backed up traffic in the southbound lanes of I-75.
