CLOVERDALE — The State Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking tips from the public about a fire that was set in Cloverdale’s town hall.
The intentionally set fire occurred at 4:19 a.m. April 7 at the village’s town hall, 210 Mahoning St. It was reported by a newspaper carrier delivering to the home next door to the town hall.
The Ottoville Fire Department was the primary department on the scene. Continental and Kalida fire departments provided assistance.
The investigation is being conducted by the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire.
