The following highway construction is scheduled to occur within Hancock, and area counties during this week, according to information from the Ohio Department of Transportation. Work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, it will take place during daytime hours.
As part of the I-75 reconstruction and widening project, ramp closings at the interchange of U.S. 68/Ohio 15 and Lima Avenue will begin soon. The ramps to be closed beginning April 29 are U.S. 68/Ohio 15 southbound to Lima Avenue westbound and Lima Avenue eastbound to U.S. 68/Ohio 15 southbound. These ramps are located on the west side of U.S. 68/Ohio 15 toward the airport. The closure is expected to last for about three weeks for roundabout construction. The ramps on the east side toward Cooper Tire will remain open until that project is finished. Then they will close for about three weeks for roundabout construction.

Ohio 103 between U.S. 68 and Township Road 177, just east of Arlington, will close April 29, for about five days for a culvert replacement.
Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and the Hancock County line will be restricted to one lane in each direction for pavement repair.
I-75 over Little Riley Creek, north of Beaverdam, will be impacted minimally by maintenance work on bridges and overpasses.
Ohio 81 just east of Ohio 235 in Ada will close today for about one week for a waterline repair project.
Ohio 114 between U.S. 224 and Road M in Kalida will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing through late July.
U.S. 224 between the Van Wert County line and the eastern corporation limit of Kalida, excluding the village of Ottoville, will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing. Work is expected to continue through late July.
Ohio 613 between Leipsic and the Hancock County line, and between the Paulding County line and Ohio 15, will be restricted to one lane for removal of raised pavement markings. The work is being done in preparation for an upcoming chip seal project.
U.S. 23 over Tymochtee Creek, just north of Township Highway 103, will be restricted to one lane in each direction for a bridge rehabilitation project. The project also includes resurfacing of U.S. 23 between County Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, which is expected to begin in early June. Lane restrictions are possible for work done in preparation for resurfacing.
Ohio 67 between Ohio 103 and Sycamore will be restricted to one lane for pavement joint repairs beginning today. The repair work is being done in preparation for a resurfacing project scheduled to begin in June.
Ohio 67/Ohio 231 overlap over Sycamore Creek between Kilborn Street and Ohio 231 in Sycamore closed March 11 for about four months for a bridge rehabilitation project.
Ohio 231 between County Highway 330 and the Seneca County line will be restricted to one lane for pavement joint repairs beginning today. The repair work is being done in preparation for a resurfacing project scheduled to begin in June.
