Findlay school board on Monday approved a three-year contract for Krista Miller as the new Glenwood Middle School principal.

Miller replaces Janice Panuto, who will become the district’s supervisor of compliance and operations, Superintendent Ed Kurt said. That involves overseeing the district’s continuous improvement plan, dropout recovery and other initiatives, Kurt said.

Miller has been the Jacobs Primary principal since fall 2016, and was principal at Jefferson Primary before that.

Separately, four Findlay Learning Center graduates were recognized during the board meeting: Zachary Hamlin, Logan Caskey, Shyann Peek and Ridge Risner. Also recognized was Harmony Cagney, a student who officially graduated from Findlay High School, but had many credits from Findlay Learning Center.

Findlay Learning Center is an option that blends online learning and in-person instruction for K-12 students.
