Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. 224 and Marion Township 215, east of Findlay, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

Olivia Sexton, 18, of Findlay, was driving a 2014 Ford Escape east on U.S. 224 when Nicole Frankart, 26, of Attica, driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee west on U.S. 224, started to turn left onto Township Road 215 and collided with Sexton’s vehicle. Following impact, Frankart’s vehicle spun around and struck a stopped Jeep, driven by Tamara Brodman, 37, of Findlay. Sexton’s vehicle spun around and stopped facing southwest in the east lane of U.S. 224.

Sexton and Frankart were taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.

Frankart was cited for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.

Sheriff’s office personnel also were assisted by Washington Township Fire Department, Findlay Fire Department, Dick’s Towing and John’s Welding and Towing, Tiffin.
