BLOOMDALE — Two people were injured when their car struck a deer on Ohio 18, south of Bloomdale, Sunday night, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.

The patrol reported that a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by Steven Keckler, 61, of rural Arcadia, was southbound on Ohio 18, just north of the Ohio 613 intersection, at 9:35 p.m. when the vehicle struck the deer.

Keckler and a passenger, Ryleigh Keckler, 11, of rural Arcadia, were both taken by Bloomdale EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the patrol.
