The following highway construction is scheduled to occur within Hancock and area counties this week, according to information from the Ohio Department of Transportation. Work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, it will take place during daytime hours.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Ohio 37 between Ohio 15 and Township Road 166, north of Mount Blanchard, will close June 26 for about three days for a culvert replacement.

Ohio 103 between Ohio 698 and Township Road 71 between the villages of Jenera and Arlington closed June 10 for about 45 days for a pavement repair and shoulder widening project.

U.S. 224 between Township Road 254 and Township Road 255, east of Findlay, will close Wednesday for about two days for a culvert replacement.

Ohio 235 between County Road 313 and the Wood County line, excluding its overlaps with Ohio 12 and Ohio 186, will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing.

Ohio 235 in the following locations will be undergoing culvert replacement projects:

• Ohio 235 between Township Road 47 and Ohio 12, north of Mount Cory, is now open following a culvert replacement.

• Ohio 235 between Ohio 12 and U.S. 224, north of Benton Ridge, is now open following a culvert replacement.

• Ohio 235 between County Road 203 and Township Road 11, north of McComb, will close today for about five days for a culvert replacement.

PUTNAM COUNTY

Ohio 114 between U.S. 224 and Road M in Kalida will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing through late July.

U.S. 224 between the Van Wert County line and the eastern corporation limit of Kalida, excluding the village of Ottoville, will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing through late July.

U.S. 224/Ohio 15 (Main Street) near Pratt Street, east of Ohio 65 (Elm Street) in the village of Ottawa, is now open following a waterline installation project.

WYANDOT COUNTY

U.S. 23 over Tymochtee Creek, just north of Township Highway 103, will be restricted to one lane in each direction for a bridge rehabilitation project. The project also includes resurfacing of U.S. 23 between County Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, which is expected to begin in early June. Lane restrictions are possible for work done in preparation for resurfacing.

Ohio 67 between Ohio 103 and the northern corporation limit of Sycamore will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing.

Ohio 67/Ohio 231 overlap over Sycamore Creek, between Kilborn Street and Ohio 231 within the village of Sycamore, closed March 11 for about four months during a bridge rehabilitation project.

Ohio 199 between U.S. 23 and the village of Carey will be restricted to one lane for guardrail repairs.

Ohio 231 between County Highway 330 and the Seneca County line will be restricted to one lane for pavement resurfacing.

Ohio 231 between Ohio 294 and Ohio 103 will be restricted to one lane for guardrail repair.
