The City of Findlay is planning numerous street projects this week, weather permitting.
The following projects and related traffic restrictions are planned for today through Friday, according to the city engineering department:
• Summit Street from Lima Avenue to Lima Street will be closed to through traffic for asphalt milling and repaving.
• Hurd Avenue from Lima Avenue to Stadium Drive will be closed to through traffic for asphalt milling and repaving.
• The two northbound lanes of South Blanchard Street from East Sandusky to Wyandot streets will be closed to traffic. During the closure, the southbound lanes will be the travel lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic. Southbound traffic on South Blanchard can’t turn east, or left, onto East Sandusky Street.
Residents and businesses will have access to their drives, but there will be some delays due to construction.
Motorists should avoid these areas, if possible. Short delays are expected during the week.
