FOSTORIA — Two Findlay residents were injured in a single-car accident on Ohio 199 near Fostoria late Saturday night, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office reported that Destiny Johnson, 20, of Findlay, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am south on Ohio 199, north of Fostoria, at 11:39 p.m. when the car went off the west side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Johnson and a passenger, Jose Villegas, 30, of Findlay, were taken by ambulance to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, the sheriff’s office reported.
Johnson was cited for operating a motor vehicle without reasonable control, according to the sheriff’s office.
Assisting at the scene were the Bloomdale and Fostoria EMS.
