One person was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital and another was cited following a three-vehicle accident on Tiffin Avenue Thursday.
The Findlay Police Department reported that at about 2 p.m., a Chevy Impala driven by Jacinto Trevino, 65, of Findlay, was stopped in the eastbound center lane of the 1200 block of Tiffin Avenue, waiting to make a left turn into a gas station. A Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 25-year-old Samantha Boyd, of Findlay, was stopped behind the Chevy, waiting for Trevino to turn.
Jennifer Lovelace, 40, of Findlay, driving a Hyundai Elantra, failed to stop behind the first two vehicles, causing a chain-reaction accident. Lovelace was cited for failing to stop in an assured clear distance ahead.
Boyd was taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for neck and shoulder injuries.
The Findlay Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
