The following highway construction and maintenance work is scheduled this week in Hancock and area counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Work depends on weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, will take place during daytime hours.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Ohio 15 eastbound, between Findlay and the Wyandot County line, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for berm repair.

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Lima and Beaverdam will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. Work will continue through early October.

Ohio 103 (Jefferson Street) in Bluffton, between Huber and Vance streets, closed July 1 for about four months for a bridge replacement. A village waterline replacement project is also underway there. Traffic cannot cross the Riley Creek bridge.

Ohio 696 between Beaverdam and the Putnam County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs.

HARDIN COUNTY

Ohio 81 and Ohio 235 in Ada will be restricted to one lane at times through the work zone for installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks. The work is part of a larger project to resurface Ohio 81 and Ohio 235 in and around Ada, as well as Ohio 701 in its entirety. Resurfacing work is expected to begin in mid-August.

Ohio 235 between County Road 20 and Township Road 30, north of Ada, will close today for about five days for a culvert replacement.

Ohio 701 between Ohio 309 and County Road 75 closed July 1 for approximately 45 days for the replacement of two bridges.

PUTNAM COUNTY

Ohio 613 (Main Street) between Ninth and 11th streets in Leipsic will close today for approximately three days for sinkhole repair.

Ohio 613 between Leipsic and the Hancock County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement marking following a chip seal project.

Ohio 613 between the Paulding County line and Ohio 15 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement marking following a chip seal project.

SENECA COUNTY

Lane restrictions are possible through August on U.S. 23 in Fostoria between Findlay Street (Ohio 12) and McCutchenville Road (Ohio 199) for resurfacing.

Ohio 635 is closed between Ohio 12 and Township Road 154 through August for a bridge replacement.

WOOD COUNTY

U.S. 23 is closed between Cygnet Road and Brandeberry Road for bridge replacement.

WYANDOT COUNTY

U.S. 23 between County Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Variable speed limit signs will be in place.

U.S. 23 between the Marion County line and Ohio 53/Ohio 67 will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for guardrail repair.

Ohio 67 between Ohio 103 and the northern corporation limit of Sycamore will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing.

Ohio 103 just east of Ohio 53 closed July 8 for approximately 45 days for a culvert replacement.

Ohio 103 between Ohio 199 and the Crawford County line, excluding its overlap with Ohio 53, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing.

Ohio 231 between County Highway 330 (Lincoln Highway) and the Seneca County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing.
