The Elks club will host the Shifferly Road Band at an outdoor concert Friday, Aug. 23, from 7 to 11 p.m.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. There will be a $5 cover charge.

No outside containers are permitted, and ID is required for the purchase of alcholic beverages.

A cover band based in Bluffton and an area favorite, the Shifferly Road Band’s repertoire spans modern country, classic rock, ’80s and ’90s tunes, blues, alternative and pop. The five-piece group takes its inspiration from artists like Little Big Town, Pistol Annies, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Alanis Morissette, and the Doobie Brothers

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the banquet facility.
