The following highway construction and maintenance work is scheduled this week in Hancock and area counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Work depends on weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, will take place during daytime hours.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 northbound entrance and exit ramps at Hancock County 99 will be minimally affected by an erosion repair project along the ramps. Exit and entrance ramp lanes may be shifted and narrowed slightly around the work zone.

I-75 between the Allen County line and Findlay will be restricted to one lane in each direction for pavement joint repairs.

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Lima and Beaverdam will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. Work will continue through early October.

Ohio 103 (Jefferson Street) in Bluffton between Huber and Vance streets closed July 1 for about four months for a bridge replacement. A village waterline replacement project is also underway there. Traffic cannot cross the Riley Creek bridge.

U.S. 30 at Ohio 696, Beaverdam, and at Bentley Road will be restricted to one lane in each direction for erosion repair. All ramps at Ohio 696 are expected to be maintained throughout the project.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 between Township Road 40 and Ohio 701, south of Dunkirk, will close Sept. 30 for about three weeks for the replacement of two culverts.

Ohio 81 between the western village limits of Ada and Township Road 55 in Ada will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks in Ada.

Ohio 235 between the northern village limits of Ada and Ohio 309 will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks in Ada.

Ohio 701 between Ohio 309 and U.S. 68 will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs in preparation for pavement resurfacing.

PUTNAM COUNTY

Ohio 65 (Elm Street/Perry Street) between Williamstown Road and 11th Street in Ottawa will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.

Ohio 108 between Vanbuskirk Street and Railroad Avenue in Miller City is closed for railroad crossing repairs.

Ohio 115 between Ohio 15 and the Allen County line will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.

Ohio 189 between Rimer and Ohio 115 will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.

Ohio 694 between Ohio 115 and Glandorf will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.

U.S. 224 between the village of Ottawa and the Hancock County line will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.

SENECA COUNTY

U.S. 23 is closed between Eagleville Road and Grove Road through September for a bridge project.

WYANDOT COUNTY

U.S. 23 between County Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to one lane in each direction for pavement resurfacing. Variable speed limit signs will be in place.

U.S. 23/U.S. 30 at County Highway 50, Upper Sandusky, will experience shoulder restrictions in both directions during removal of at-grade access at the intersection beginning today. The project includes the construction of cul-de-sacs on County Highway 50 and shoulder repair following intersection removal. When the project is complete, no access will be allowed between U.S. 23/U.S. 30 and County Highway 50.
