A Findlay man was injured in a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Tiffin Avenue and North Blanchard Street Tuesday night, Findlay police reported.
According to police, Cameron E. Rudolph, 23, of Fostoria, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala east on Tiffin Avenue at 10:41 p.m. when he ran a red traffic light at the Blanchard Street intersection and collided with a southbound 2002 Toyota Corolla driven by Nicholas R. Sammet, 22, of Findlay. Following impact, Rudolph’s car was pushed into a 2008 Ford Edge driven by McKenzie Karhoff, 19, of Findlay, which was stopped in a right-turn lane, police reported.
Sammet was taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of injuries. Rudolph was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, police reported.
The Findlay Fire Department, Frank’s Towing and Mac & Bob’s Towing assisted at the scene.
